James Baroud rooftop tents are handmade in Portugal with a shell made of glass reinforced polyester and a Gelcoat finish. It has 2 air slots with dust filters to improve ventilation and keep condensation down. James Baroud put more effort into forming these shells to be aerodynamic and pleasing to the eye. The ladder comes with a storage bag and can be stored inside the tent when folded. The walls are made with 6 aluminized layers that reflect solar rays and while UV and water resistant still remain breathable. All seams are doubled and the walls fit under the hardshell for 100% waterproofing and wind resistance up to 75mph. In the ceiling, you get a gear net and a solar powered fan, to prevent condensation and pull out excess heat if necessary. They also include a removable and rechargeable light with battery level indicator.
