You want your truck to drive better, but with your budget focused on bikes, surfboards, skis, snowboards, fishing, or hunting gear, you can opt for the TAV REC SPEC. The suspension system addresses the overly soft shock and spring on your stock truck. By using the REC SPEC suspension components, we are specifically targeting the spring rates and shock valving to make hauling all of your gear to the trailhead far more comfortable for your specific needs. This approach is intended to maintain your stock wheel and tire size.

Your SUV is your daily driver, commuter, the school bus, and the weekend warrior. Entrusting your safety to this vehicle is essential, and improving the ride quality is important. Like the Trucks, the suspension system addresses the overly soft shock and spring on your stock vehicle. With the TAV REC SPEC, the handling and feel will have a noticeable improvement on both pavement and dirt. This package provides an approximate 1.5” height increase in the front and an approximate 2” increase in the rear over factory height.

FAQs

TAV REC SPEC includes parts and labor. Prices are subject to change. TAV REC SPEC is meant to improve the ride quality of your vehicle over stock. Added weight, such as bumper and tents, will affect how the vehicle drives and handles. Options can be discussed. If previous work has been done to the suspension, this may increase the time needed to complete your installation correctly.

  • From the time the Truck is dropped off, it is usually a 24-48 hour turnaround. The Rec Spec is designed to get you in and out quickly.

  • The short answer is yes. As mentioned above, this will affect how the vehicle drives and handles. Any outfitting will have to be scheduled and may need to be completed at a separate date and time.

  • We can do more vehicles than are listed, but to verify, please call or email.

  • Yes, you can change to a different tire. Although, You may see a price adjustment to compensate for the difference.

  • Of course you can. The price of the wheels would need to be added, but the overall build time would not change.

  • You will see an increase in ride height, but this suspension package is designed to provide an increase in performance rather than just ride height.
